Upgrade, downgrade, cancel, and resume a plan
What the Subscription page shows
Subscription shows current plan, current status, pending changes, and the actions available through checkout or the billing portal.
That is the source of truth for whether you are active, scheduled to cancel, incomplete, or fully ended.
Upgrade, downgrade, cancel, and resume a plan
How changes usually behave
Upgrades can redirect into checkout immediately. Existing paid billing relationships can send you to the billing portal instead of opening a fresh checkout session.
Downgrades or cancellations may appear as pending changes that take effect later rather than instantly removing access.
Upgrade, downgrade, cancel, and resume a plan
What to do when you want to resume
If the plan is scheduled to cancel or has recently lapsed, use the billing actions surfaced in Subscription first. That flow is more reliable than starting a separate manual purchase path.
